South Asian Village Empowerment International (SAVE-INTL) was established primarily to serve as a vehicle for tax-deductible donations from the US to be used to support our primary partner in Tamilnadu, India, Tamilnadu Village Outreach and R.A. (TNVORA), to fulfill its mission serving the needs of poor rural villagers.TNVORA has monthly financial obligations, primarily in the form of salary payments to teachers and administrators but also maintenance, rent and repairs, which average about 40000RPs. Additionally there are non-salaried projects which include the construction of small community buildings, purchase of educational materials such as books, stationary for students, computers, sewing machines, funding for student excursions and much more.
